The Royal Opera House:
Another great destination to visit would be the Opera House in Muscat. It only just opened its doors in 2012 and the décor and design of the building are simply amazing. It is built like a palace and has traditional Arabic architecture to stand back and look at in awe. There is always a show on, and you can pick up tickets on the night.
Shatti Al-Qurum Beach:
This is a beachside chill-out zone where you will be able to go and grab a coffee or an ice cream. You can also take a stroll along the beach and there are heaps of hotels along the beach strip from here. You will be able to pop into one of them for a pint of beer or a glass of wine as you chill out along the beach.
